The Fifth Annual Good Samaritan Awards honored businesses helping returning veterans and their families. The awards were held Wednesday, May 6, 6pm, at the Madison Concourse Hotel. The 2009  winners are: AT&T, American Family, Madison Veteran's Project (Bluestem Acupuncture, Blackbird Acupuncture, and other volunteers), and Sears East Towne.  Samaritan Counseling Center collaborated  with Edgewood College to honor businesses which have gone over and above their usual business to help veterans. The next Good Samaritan Awards will be held next Spring (dates and topic to be announced).
