Our Mission
Since 1993, the Samaritan Counseling Center of Southern Wisconsin has offered professional, compassionate counseling services to people in varying financial and life circumstances. Our interdisciplinary staff of clergy, and licensed professional counselors are specialized in treating individuals, couples, and families. Our clients benefit from an approach which combines psychological, physical, and spiritual aspects into the counseling process keeping in line with the philosophy of the Samaritan program of caring for Mind, Body, Spirit and Community. The Samaritan Counseling Center accepts many insurance carriers, self-pay and sliding-scale fees based on proof of income. National Samaritan Center Affiliation
The National Samaritan Institute was founded in 1972 and has hundreds of Samaritan Counseling Centers throughout the United States and in Japan. Samaritan Centers employ licensed counselors who are trained in both theology and psychology. They understand and respect the religious perspectives of each client and, if appropriate, incorporate these views into the therapeutic process. These combined skills allow for complete assessment of each client’s needs.
