Anxiety Treatment

Anxiety is another general term that gets used a lot to describe many things. There are different kinds of anxiety and it seems to be one of the most overlooked challenges that individuals of all ages face but don't realize.

Some anxiety is normal but sometimes anxiety like social phobias, specific phobias, post traumatic stress disorder, general anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, or other anxiety can impact your daily living and it may be time to seek help.

Many individuals don't even realize they have anxiety until they experience their first panic attack. That is one sign that you may have some underlying anxiety issues that need to be addressed, but you can also have severe anxiety and never experience a panic attack so that isn't the only thing to look for.

Many children who are thought to just be shy when they are younger may actually be experiencing a form of anxiety.

Anxiety can sometimes produce physical symptoms and get in the way of daily life. Anxiety is very common and you shouldn't suffer in silence.

If you don't already have a therapist in mind, we recommend calling our new client line and speaking with our New Client Intake Coordinator who can help match you with an appropriate therapist for your needs.
