Sue Gruen, MSSW, LCSW

Professional Background

Sue Gruen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Sue graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) in 2003.

Sue has experience working in various community outreach programs and utilizes her experience to help connect clients to community resources when appropriate.

Additional Training

Sue completed additional training in Level I Gottman Marriage Counseling, is certified to administer the Prepare-Enrich Relationship Inventory: a tool utilized to strengthen a couple's relationship, and Brainspotting: a technique to help heal the emotional and psychological scars of traumatic experiences. Outside of Work

Sue enjoys spending time with her husband and her blended family of three adult sons. She also has two daughter in-loves as she refers to them, and a granddaughter she adores. Her favorite leisure activities include attending movies, reading, hiking, and family trips. Sue’s own therapy includes down time with her animals, relaxing with music, prayer, and meditation.
