Couples Counseling

In couples counseling, the counselor focuses on the relationship: the ways the two of you communicate; how your families-of-origin contribute strengths as well as problems to your relationship; issues of intimacy, finances, decision-making; and conflict management.

If you are interested in couples counseling, make sure the therapist you want to work with specializes in this type of therapy.

The Samaritan Center offers counseling to couples who are involved in committed relationships.

If you are truly coming in for just Couples Counseling and not doing Individual Counseling, then we cannot bill your insurance for Individual Counseling and would need to explore if you have Family Therapy benefits. These may not always be offered and therefore you may have to pay out of pocket for your services.
